Why Shilu?
Collecting routes, tools and stories worth sharing.
Shilu is a slowly growing field guide. We care whether a journey makes practical sense, whether a tool solves a real problem, and what choices lie behind a small independent business.
How we choose
- Journeys: tourism boards, attractions and transport operators come first. We distinguish planning suggestions from verified facts.
- Tools: direct official links, practical uses and relevant limitations. Prices, account requirements and regional availability can change.
- Stories: founder accounts and primary sources, without presenting revenue rumours as facts or success as a formula.
Images & sources
Destination photos include their photographer, original page and licence. Source-check dates record desk research, not first-hand travel or end-to-end product testing.
